As the Program Manager for the Community Foundation, Jana leads and coordinates programming in line with the strategic plan and a goal to ensure every program delivers the highest possible value to the organization.

Jana’s roots run deep being that she is 5th generation Marion County.  She was born in Ocala, Florida at what was then Munroe Regional Medical Center and is now known as Advent Health.

After graduating from the University of Florida she returned to her Ocala roots, accepting a position in Marketing with the hospital where she was born.  Her primary role was to support the creation of the hospital’s blossoming Foundation.  After this achievement, she moved to Palm Beach County and was instrumental in developing, launching and managing the county’s first residential and commercial recycling programs.  She also started the Resource Depot, a program that is still in operation, which continues to serve thousands of teachers, parents, artists and nonprofits today more than 23 years later.

Returning to Ocala in the year 2000, she worked briefly for Radiology Associates of Ocala before starting her own business along with her husband.  Together they grew Budget Blinds from home based to a brick and mortar multimillion dollar producing business.

After selling, Jana obtained her license in Real Estate and has earned top selling status with The Truluck Team at Sellstate Next Generation Realty.
