Big Sun Youth Soccer League, Inc. (BSYSL) is the PREMIER youth soccer program in Marion County! Our mission is Excellence in Soccer. Founded in 1980 through the passion of a handful of individuals aspiring to invest the love of soccer through quality coaching, affordable training, and access to the world’s foot game in all of Marion County’s youth.
Big Sun YSL is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and is governed by an Executive Board of Directors. Operational oversight is administered by three managing boards: Recreational Board, Competitive Board, and Adult Board.
Big Sun YSL currently offers six programs, Traditional Rec for players ages 5-17 who want to stay fit, learn a new game, work on their foot skills, play a team sport, and get healthy, Sun Lights, a special needs program for elementary & middle school aged players, Super Starters, an 6 week introduction to soccer through balance and fine motor skills for ages 3-5, Competitive (travel) for those taking soccer to the next level ages 8-18, Adult Rec, to play over age 18 just for fun, and Adult Competitive, for those over 18 who still want a competitive environment of play.
Fun Fact: Our youngest player was 2 yrs old and our oldest player was 102.
