The Marion County Bar Association Civil Legal Aid fund, the first of its kind in the state of Florida, was established in 2017 as a way to help remove barriers to justice and provide funding for legal aid to those low to moderate income citizens in our community who need legal assistance and advocacy.  In many cases, local legal aid funding helps people to obtain the basic necessities of life: food, shelter, health care, safety and education.

The Marion County Bar Association is committed to helping provide legal assistance to low-income Marion County citizens.  Through the MCBA Civil Legal Aid Fund, services can be provided to assist in making sure that all have equal access to justice in Marion County.  But for this to happen, we need your help to champion the cause of legal aid.
