During the Tuesday, October 15, NonProfit Business Council meeting, Gentle Carousel Miniature Therapy Horses received $1,000 from the Community Foundation for Ocala Marion County’s One Passion at a Time social media contest.
FreeD.O.M. Clinic, which uses volunteers to provide free dental, optical and medical care and counseling for low-income, uninsured Marion County residents, will receive a $101,500 grant from the Florida Association of Free and Charitable Clinics to enhance their mental health counseling services in 2020.
From October 1 through October 10, the Community Foundation for Ocala Marion County will sponsor the What’s Your Nonprofit Passion? social media contest where one Marion County nonprofit will receive $1,000.
