As the Director of Grant Services for the Community Foundation, she works to connect nonprofits in Ocala/Marion County with grant funding by helping them clearly communicate the value they provide to the community, measure their effectiveness, and report their successes.

Originally from Palatka, FL, Ann holds a bachelor’s degree in British and American literature from New College of Florida, a grad certificate in scientific and technical communication from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in English and Film Studies from the University of Florida. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and is also Grant Professional Certified (GPC). Ann has extensive experience in grants and development, raising more than $20 million for organizations in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, public television, and the YMCA.
