As Director of Strategic Communications at the Community Foundation, she manages all internal and external communication strategies from research to implementation.
Originally from Southeast Tennessee, Allison holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunication from Lee University, a master’s degree in political communication from Regent University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in strategic communication from Regent. A public relations practitioner by trade, she also earned and maintains her professional credentials, APR, CPRC – Accredited in Public Relations and Certified Public Relations Counselor. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Southeastern University and the College of Central Florida. Allison has worked in Ocala/Marion County for nearly 20 years in healthcare, the automotive industry and as a nonprofit executive. Allison was a founder of the NonProfit Business Council and curriculum developer for Youth Philanthropy in Action. She has volunteered with the Florida Public Relations Association, the United Way of Marion County, the Public Education Foundation of Marion County, Ocala Women’s Network and the College of Central Florida basketball programs.
